IF EVERYTHING MUST HAVE A CREATOR, WHO CREATED GOD?

Everything was caused by something, so the universe must have had a cause. That cause is God, you say.

Well, the First Cause argument only removes the question of cause to another degree. There are a few ways to look at this:

Then what caused this god?

If a god is allowed to exist without cause, why can't the universe be allowed to exist without cause?

What is more likely? The universe as a natural occurrence, or a supernatural being capable of creating the universe, reading people's thoughts, and performing acts that defy the laws of nature?

Even if one accepts the First Cause argument as valid, by giving the special quality of "the non causal" to a deity, the only metaphysics it actually supports is deism. First Cause alone does not support any brand of god that interacts with anything in our universe.

Philosophically, if you have a positive claim like "God exists," you need to prove it with compelling evidence.

If the claim is of an extraordinary nature, it gains a heavier burden of evidence. The lack of compelling evidence gives reason to disbelieve extraordinary theistic claims.

So, this begs the question, "If god created the universe, who created god?" This question is based on the core of creationism that supports the idea that 'if there is creation, there is a creator.'

Answers creationists?
