HOW TO HAVE GOOD SKIN ANY SEASON

Win the battle against dry, winter-weary and sun scorched skin with our easy to follow tips

1) Drink Water ...
During the winter/summer getting your daily dose of water isn't always a top priority, but it should be. Hydrate your skin from the inside out by drinking lots of water or herbal teas when it is really cold/hot.

2) Cleanse…
Avoid harsh cleansers during winter/summer, this is applicable to both your face and body. We tend to increase the dryness of the already cold/hot, dry air during winter/summer with all the heaters/air conditioners which are turned on at home, in the car or at the office. Although this is certainly warmer/cooler, it dries out the air leaving our skin itchy, dry and vulnerable to cracking and hurting if not taken care of.

3) The Face...
Make sure to cleanse your face twice a day with luke warm water – again, using hot/cold water will not only damage the capillaries, but will also dry out the skin even further.

4) The Body...
Try to limit the time spent under a steaming hot shower, or soaking a hot tub. If you really need to have a good soak in the bath after a long hard day, add Bath & Massage Oil to help nourish the skin.

3) Exfoliate…
Depending on how dry your skin is, it is recommended to exfoliate one to two times a week, but be careful not to over do it or else you might break down your skin's natural barrier function.

4) Moisturize...
If you're using a lightweight moisturizer, change over to using a more nourishing moisturizer.
