LET'S CHANGE THE WORLD

Our long term goal must be to fundamentally change the world.

That change will be greater than any in history. It will have more impact than any religion has ever had. It will mean securing the same right to life and freedom from exploitation for animals that we now declare for humans.

Few people make plans beyond their own lifetimes. And there has likely never been a movement with so ambitious a goal. But if we win, it means that humanity will win. The Animal Rights movement is about the best of humanity prevailing over its worst: love over hatred, compassion over cruelty, camaraderie over bigotry, peace over war, generosity over greed, socialism over capitalism.

We need to lock arms with all progressives who are attempting to build a more compassionate world. Our allies are Liberals, environmentalists, occupiers, anti-globalists, opponents of the death penalty and torture, prison reformers, gay and women's activists, crusaders for social and economic justice, Greens, Socialists, Humanitarians, and anti-war activists, etc.

We must aid their causes, share their victories, join in coalitions to elect the most Liberal candidates, and slowly we will create a political environment in which Animal Rights can grow.
