WHY WARS ARE ONGOING

Wars remain the main cause for the loss of human lives. From the first war in recorded history which took place in Mesopotamia in 2700 BCE between Sumer and Elam to WW2 to the recent civil war in Syria and Africa, mankind is beset in violence and massacre.

Countless of peace treaty have been signed, there are war watchdogs that play arbitrary and yet humankind is still not free from war.

Reeling from the adverse affects of the nuked Hiroshima and Nagasaki, Japan rose up and it is now nothing short of an admiration.

Japan advocates world peace but it is also one of the biggest country which manufactures weapons next to China and the US.

What can be identified here is that there is vested interest and selfishness on behalf of the peace loving yet artillery producing countries in wars going on somewhere else. It is the mentality of 'I will keep my house clean. What do I care if the houses of others are dirty?'

The above is also the reason why First World countries dump their waste and effluent in Third World countries.

We spend more money for wars than we do for education and feeding the world.

Lives lost in wars are conveniently termed 'collateral damage.' There is no respect for human lives.

Wars can be stopped if we put our hearts to stop it. But. we won't - greed and ego overcome humanity and kindness.

The dinosaurs were wiped out by an asteroid. Mankind will be wiped out by mankind's own deeds and those deeds are called 'wars.'
